Springhouse began as a vision of Jon Jackson, a local builder and craftsman, driven by a lifelong belief in the pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty.

Jon spent 17 fruitful years as an executive at Betenbough Homes, where he focused on shaping corporate culture, refining mission, and stewarding growth.

After stepping away in 2017, Jon entered a season of rest and renewal—trusting that a new calling would come in time.

That quiet tug returned in early 2023. Rooted in faith and purpose, Jon set out to build something new: a firm committed to beauty that endures

Springhouse brings together a close circle of family and friends of all generations united by a simple idea—that beauty matters and should be thoughtfully pursued.

From our in-house woodshop in downtown Lubbock to a master craftsman in Tennessee and a seasoned chief of construction from Michigan, our team leads each project with intention.

SEEKING
The Truth
What is truth? What is true of who we are, of why we are placed here, of the community and relationships entrusted to us? What does it mean to live faithfully within this brief life we’ve been given? Does what we do matter? It was out of such questions—and the longing to pursue their answer—that Springhouse was born.
